Good luck. Can't wait to see what you design. When I saw those flying geese, I just envisioned sashing rows. Might have to find me some of that fabric. πŸ˜‰

You can do it. Break out of that box…

I'm so curious about what you'll make with these – can't wait to see the magic you'll undoubtedly come up with!

What stunning fabric. I instantly googled Kit Miles. I'm now a fan!

  5. How can you not have been to Material Obsession? I live in New Zealand and I've been. It's a Mecca for quilters – go there!! asap!!

  6. Maria says:

Sew looking forward to seeing what you create with those fabrics…..

Sheesh! I'm right there with you in regard to fabric style, and while the AG handcrafted could SURELY be made into gorgeousness, pairing it with that large print sounds like quite a challenge! I think I would go nutty and fussy cut (assiduously cut, really) the large scale print into triangulations like in Hillary (Entropy Always Wins) 's striped thrift quilt. Clear as mud? I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!!

You don't need luck Molli; that's going to be a kick ass amazing quilt. Can't wait to see it, and feel free to send me the scraps when you're done!

I am on a fabric starvation diet aka no-buy. But that one on the left is AMAZING! I love it! I would want to use it in a bag rather than cut it up though. (Not that I have ever made a bag). πŸ™‚ I love your style and can't wait to see what you do with it.
