  2. Pat says:

Oh, I've been drawn to these for awhile now. I guess it is time to join the parade!!

  3. The O's says:

Hit me baby, why the heck not… I have more rainbow jellyrolls than people to make strip & flip quilts for

  4. I'm in! I need me some color theory!

  5. Waverlee says:

Sign me up! Loving the Perfectly Perched block sick!

  6. audrey says:

Oh, I so want to! I have a month to persuade myself it's not crazy to take on another project, right? 🙂

  7. Leo says:

Sounds like fun … and might be possible if I where into buying FQs – I'm so not into it I wouldn't know where to get them if I had to. So maybe in 15 or 20 years I will think about it again and have a look at my "larger than 5" square but smaller than an FQ"-scrap box … Truth be told I'm still working on warming up to rainbows – they look nice but they are not coordinated enough and not contrasting enough at the same time … simply too many different colours in them …
Don't know if it makes sense – but I'm more the dark colour autumn pallette person … with coordinating or a few contrasting colours but not make one big colour coordinating contrasting something. (Just my opinion and I know the love out there for rainbows is huge and I'm probably making some new enemies right now.)

  8. Vera says:

I'll try 🙂 I love the blocks you already shown.

  23. charlotte says:

I am there. I am in need of some herringbone block therapy and my stash could use some paring down. Can't wait to get started. Now, off to do my color homework.

  24. How fun! I'll definitely be following along and watching the awesomeness. No grandma truck injuries to report- just too many WIPs…

Still going to do the color homework though!

i'm in! I love these blocks.

  26. Leigh Anne says:

You know I'm in! Ever since I got your email, I've been lamenting and stressing about where I'm going to find the time to participate (cause NOT participating was NOT an option). So I just about peed my pants with excitement when I saw it didn't start until September!

  27. Katy Cameron says:

Well I'll be dancing around on the sidelines waving my pom poms on this one, not least because I know I couldn't get my TT sofas and mopeds to line up so well ;o)

  28. I am in for the QAL. Now somebody come back and shoot me for saying that. Love the blocks

  29. memmens says:

Oh wow I am seriously tempted, my children don't go back to school until Sept 9th but I can work with that – thinking about fabrics already (even though someone told me we don't need any more quilts!)

  30. Heavens to Betsy, I am so far behind I'm going in circles…but this looks like a terrible lot of fun and you can add me to the group!

  31. Stephanie says:

Sign me up Molli! I couldn't live this block any more if it was smothered in chocolate and peanut butter. Well maybe a teensy bit more…but that can't be helped.

  32. Mary Graff says:

Love the look of these blocks. Don't know if I can participate right now because of weddings to prepare for, but I'll definitely follow along and add this to my to do list.

  33. Catrin Lewis says:

Oh, if only I had a half decent stash! I'm slowly building it up but I don't think it'll be diverse enough by September 🙁

  34. Emily says:

I am in too! I tried the tutorial, and I got mixed up when I was cutting at the thirteen inch line. It will be nice to have others participating. This block is so beautiful

  35. Carol says:

I fell in love with this quilt the first time I saw it. I really want to join the QAL. I'll start collecting fabrics once I get ready for the workshop I am taking on Friday.

  38. Sooli says:

  42. I'd really like to quilt along, but I sure don't have a stash worthy of that wonderful herringbone block. Your latest blocks are beautiful, Molli! Rest assured I will be cheering you all on from the sidelines and posting updates to my facebook page! Sparkle on!

Now that I've jumped into this quilting community, I'm going all the way! I'm in for this challenge with my eyes wide open and enthusiasm turned to high.

  58. I love this quilt and the block of colours and fabric choices are amazing. I am sitting on the fence at the moment……but may be big time tempted. Have a great day…….Marie (mlismore@optusnet.com)

  59. Tanyia says:

Seriously…I really need nothing more on my to do list right now but I can NOT not do this! I have had this tutorial on my pinboard for ages and so yep… I am in dammit!

Yay! What fun… I'd love to QAL with you!

  61. Sel says:

Alas, for I shall be in the US for most of this QAL, although I've adored watching you put your quilt together and will certainly use this block in future! Have sparkly, glittery fun, though!

  62. Helen says:

Hmmm, did I miss Rose's name on here…

  63. BradsBest says:

So excited you're doing a QAL for this! I've already been gathering fabrics for a broken herring bone inspired baby quilt – I say inspired because it's going to be broken herringbone blocks mixed into an offset sashing quilt. I don't know what the technical name for the style I'm going to put them in but I think it will be gorgeous. At least I hope…. I'm thinking teal and chocolate with a pop of lime green.

This will be my first QAL so hopefully I can keep up!

  66. Julianne says:

Looks fun, I am a scrappy gal so I hope doing a scrappy version will work ok! I just started following your blog, you seem to be very spunky, I like it!

  67. Count me in too! But I'll be a week late. No access to a sewing machine! Looks like lots of fun, even if I need another project like I need another hole on my head!

  68. Julie says:

Oh this is so fabulous and I'd love to join but I just had a baby! She's barely a month old and with four other little ones in the mix it's probably not going to happen but I'll have to pin and come back later!

  69. Lyndsey says:

This looks a lot of fun and I need another project (like a hoe in the head) so I'm in.
